Señora Herrera is our new full-time Spanish teacher. Mrs. Herrera has been a language teacher for 5 years. After graduating from the University of San Diego in Liberal Studies in 2007, she taught Spanish at a Catholic school in Utah. Then, she returned to San Diego to earn a Masters in Education. After that, she and her husband, Daniel, moved to Oregon where she taught 6th grade in a bilingual program. She returned to California and taught adult ESL for three years at various schools and universities in Los Angeles, including UCLA and CSULB. She is happy to be returning to Spanish teaching, as that is her passion. She has a Yorkie and enjoys running, shopping, and relaxing at the beach. She frequently travels to Latin America with her husband.
