Becky Girmann earned bachelor’s degrees in Biblical Studies and Education and a minor in Spanish at Cincinnati Christian University in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. During this time, she also lived in Honduras and Chile as a missionary, where she taught English in public schools, supported churches, and worked to bring medical care and food to the poor. She came to San Diego in 2005 to continue her Spanish studies and earned a single subject Spanish credential at the University of San Diego.
