Guiding Our Mission, Strengthening Our Community

The Stella Maris Academy Advisory School Board works in partnership with the pastor and principal to support the mission and vision of the school. Guided by Diocesan policy, the board helps ensure the continued growth and vitality of the academy through thoughtful planning, stewardship, and consultation. One of its key responsibilities is assisting in the establishment of the annual tuition schedule—balancing the cost of education with the needs of families, while maintaining the school’s commitment to excellence and accessibility.

Beyond policy and planning, the School Board also plays an important role in fostering community. Through the Family Mentoring Program, experienced board members are paired with new families to help them feel welcomed and connected from the very start. Mentor families provide guidance, answer questions, and serve as friendly points of contact throughout the year. This spirit of collaboration and care reflects the heart of Stella Maris Academy—where faith, family, and education come together to build a thriving school community.
